This page walks you through each section of the redesigned bill so you know exactly what you’re seeing when it arrives.
Front of Your Bill
The front of your bill gives you a quick snapshot of your account and payment information.
A – Contact Information
Ways to contact PEC about your bill or account are clearly listed so help is always easy to find.
B – Account Information
Your account number, account name, billing date, and contact phone number are displayed together to keep your account details front and center.
C – Total Amount Due
This section highlights your total amount due and payment due date. If you’re enrolled in automatic payments, that information will also appear here.
D – Energy Usage Graph
This graph shows your electric usage over the past year, along with monthly high and low temperatures, helping you spot trends at a glance.
E – Daily Energy Average
This section displays your average daily energy use and average daily cost based on the current billing period.
F – Energy Usage Comparison
See how your current usage compares to the previous month and the same time last year.
G – Message Center
Important updates, programs, services, and notices from PEC will be shared in this area.
H – Payment Stub
If you pay by check, please return this portion with your payment to ensure it’s properly credited to your account.
Back of Your Bill
The back of your bill provides more detailed information about your service and charges.
A – Meter & Usage Information
This section lists your meter number, meter readings, and usage details.
B – Account Information
Here you’ll find your service address, rate, board district, and contact phone number—helping ensure your account information stays up to date.
C – Previous Account Activity
A summary of recent payments and any unpaid balance from prior bills.
D – Current Bill Breakdown
A detailed breakdown of the charges that make up your current bill.
E – Total Amount Due
Your total balance due and payment due date are summarized again for easy reference.
F – Ways to Pay
This area highlights convenient payment options and how to report outages.

Why does my bill look different?
Your bill has been redesigned to make it easier to read and navigate. The information hasn’t changed, just the layout.
Is this change only for paper bills?
Yes. The redesigned layout applies to paper bills. Members who receive electronic bills can still view and download a PDF version with the new look.
Did my due date change?
Yes. New billing due dates began January 1, 2026. Standard bills are now due on the 20th of each month. Additional options are available for Delay Pay and Bank Draft members.
Do I need to do anything?
No action is required. Your account, service, and payment options remain the same unless you choose to make a change.
