Plug into the Fun Saturday, September 27, 2025 Pontotoc County Agri-Plex
People's Electric Cooperative's (PEC) Annual Meeting—known to many as PEC Day—returns Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex in Ada. This is the cooperative’s most anticipated event of the year, bringing together members, employees, and trustees for a morning of fun, food, and connection.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring PEC Day to our members and the communities we serve,” said Kevin Wood, CEO and Executive Vice President. “From excellent food and beautiful crafts to free live entertainment and kids’ activities—not to mention prize drawings including a $2,000 giveaway—PEC Day is truly something special.”
Registration Gift
A registration card will appear in this year’s annual meeting program, which will arrive in your mailbox during September, separately from the People’s Powerline newsletter. Be sure to bring your card with you to PEC Day to register for door prizes, including the $2,000 grand prize (must be present to win).
The first 2,000 members to register will receive a 25 ft. neon pink or orange PEC-branded extension cord with lighted ends, a bright and practical giveaway for your home or workshop!
Traffic Flow & Event Layout
All PEC Day traffic will enter the event from the westbound lane of Lonnie Abbott Boulevard— please note this is the only entrance to the event. Once you arrive, you’ll receive your member gift and be ready to enjoy a day filled with fun and celebration!
Stick around and experience all PEC Day has to offer, including live entertainment, free amusement rides, pony rides, and an up-close visit with adorable animals at the petting zoo. Stroll through rows of unique craft and food vendors, and don’t miss out on classic treats like free cotton candy and popcorn. There’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see you there!
Capital Credits: Bill Credit Returns for 2025
As part of our continued effort to make things easier for members, PEC will again issue capital credit retirements as a bill credit instead of mailing paper checks. This credit will automatically appear on your September bill (covering August usage). 431600106
