In accordance with People’s Electric Cooperative’s Bylaws, the Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Cheyenne Christian as the new district 5 trustee for People's Electric Cooperative (PEC).The district 5 seat was left vacant after Eldon Flinn, the previous trustee, resigned.
Mr. Christian has been an independent insurance agent for Oklahoma Farm Bureau since 2005.
He is an alumnus of Quinton High School and a graduate of University of Central Oklahoma. Cheyenne resides on a ranch southwest of Ada with his wife Dawn. He and his family enjoy working on the ranch, raising cattle and traveling.

In November, PEC’s board noticed all district 5 members of the vacancy via letter and requested their input. “On behalf of the PEC Board of Trustees, I would like to thank all of the members who responded,” stated Jenny Trett, PEC Chairman of the Board and President. “With so many qualified members, it was a difficult decision for the Board, but we believe Mr. Christian will be a great representative
for district 5.”
Christian was affirmed at the January Board meeting. He will serve the remainder of this term which runs through August 2025, at which time the regular district election will be held at the District 5 meeting.
