New Business Hours

People's Electric Cooperative (PEC) is changing its office hours to accommodate the needs of a changing membership base. On Monday, March 14, business hours will change to 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, excluding holidays. PEC will still maintain a 24-hour emergency dispatch during non-business hours.

Members are demonstrating they prefer to utilize online account management options and other modern technology to pay their bill and conduct business. Just as a reminder here are a few of our billing options that are available to members.

SmartHub

PEC offers SmartHub for members who want to manage their accounts online via a mobile device. SmartHub is available in both mobile apps and a web version to give members secure access whether at home, at work, or on the go. You have secure access to maintain your account information, view bills, see payment history, make payments, and if you choose, receive bill notifications via email and/or text.

SmartHub is easy to navigate. It’s simple and easy to make a payment or view your daily meter usage. You can compare bills and find out what day of the week you typically use the most electricity.

SureBET (Bills Electronically Transferred)

SureBET helps you take your mind off paying electric bills. It can even help eliminate the high and low bills caused by peaks and valleys of electricity usage, which certainly makes monthly budgeting easier!

Each month the amount of the bill you receive from PEC, either electronically or in the mail, is automatically paid from your checking or savings account or via credit card on the last day the bill is due (normally the 10th of every month).

Pay by Phone

Payments also can be made by phone 24-hours-a-day by dialing PEC’s Pay-by-Phone and balance inquiry number: (580) 272-1507. Have your account number ready; along with your checking account, VISA, or Mastercard information.
