Your personal invitation to People's Electric Cooperative's (PEC) 87th Annual Meeting of the Members should be arriving soon in your mailbox—and we can’t wait to see you there!
This much-anticipated annual celebration, fondly known as PEC Day, will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex (corner of J.A. Richardson Loop and Broadway in Ada).
Bring cash if you plan to shop with craft vendors—some may only accept cash—but rest assured, there’s plenty of free fun for everyone, including:
- Live music
- Amusement rides
- Pony rides
- Petting zoo
- Free cotton candy and popcorn
- Face painting for all ages
Annual Meeting Program
As soon as your event program arrives (see sample above), set it aside—you’ll need it to register and claim prizes at PEC Day. Registration runs 9:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Hold onto your program after registering through the drive-thru; it’s your ticket for any prize drawings inside the Big Red Barn.
Registration
To make things easy, registration takes place from your vehicle upon arrival at the Agri-Plex. Enter from the westbound lane of J.A. Richardson Loop and exit onto North Broadway Avenue (no entry from North Broadway). 742600401
Once you’ve registered, stay and immerse yourself in the fun! Park your car and dive into all the excitement — enjoy live entertainment, free amusement rides and pony rides, meet adorable animals at our free petting zoo, and explore our incredible lineup of craft and food vendors.
Capital Credits – You Get the Credit
Look for your capital credit retirement applied as a bill credit on your September statement— saving postage, adding convenience, and reducing the need for check deposits.
PEC Day Food Court
Hungry? The Food Court—located south of and inside the Convention Center—offers both outdoor tent seating and indoor, air-conditioned dining. As of press time, the following food vendors are scheduled to attend:
- American Fusion Foods – Chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, beef chipotle quesadillas, chicken bacon ranch fries, beef chipotle loaded fries, chicken or beef loaded street corn, loaded nachos (chicken or beef), fried honey buns
- Batter Up – Mini pancakes and dirty sodas
- Brrr-nanas – Frozen bananas dipped in chocolate and rolled in toppings or drizzles
- Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy – Lemonade
- Iceytunes Icecream – Novelty ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, pickles, Takis, novelty snowcones
- Sassy Sifter LLC – Specialty lattes, cold brew coffee, Italian sodas, dirty sodas, teas, popsicles, gourmet cookies, brownies, cake, muffins, scones
- Shields Family Tacos – Indian tacos, lemonade, tea
Member Gifts & Prizes
The first 2,000 members to register will receive a 25-foot. neon PEC-branded extension cord, pink or orange, complete with lighted ends (pictured at right).
