PEC is proud to announce its three student delegates selected to attend the 2026 Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives’ Youth Power Energy Camp, to be held May 26 through May 28 at Canyon Camp near Hinton, Oklahoma.
This year’s PEC-sponsored campers are all from Vanoss Public School and include Brody Hinkle, Landon Booth, and Easton Schreiber. These students were chosen for this unique leadership opportunity designed for rising eighth graders from across the state.
Energy Camp offers hands-on learning experiences focused on electric cooperatives, electrical safety, leadership development, and teamwork. Along with traditional camp activities such as hiking, swimming, and group games, students also get the opportunity to explore the electric cooperative world through activities like bucket truck demonstrations, pole climbing, and cooperative business simulations.
