Smart Management, Smart Life, SmartHub

Pandemic-induced social isolation has altered the relationship consumers have with technology.

With the physical world now slowly receding, consumers are suddenly more reliant on apps for communication, shopping, staying healthy, and entertainment.

To make managing and paying your bill easier, People's Electric Cooperative (PEC) offers an online SmartHub. Join SmartHub and go Paperless during October to receive a $5 credit on your next electric bill, and we will deliver your monthly statement (and this newsletter) electronically even before paper editions arrive in members’ postal mailboxes.

Once enrolled you’ll be notified by email every month when your bill is ready to view. Access to past bills and historical usage has never been easier or more secure from PEC’s website: (Click “Pay a Bill/Report an Outage”).

With SmartHub, you can:

  • Make a payment
  • Check your electric usage
  • Notify member services of account issues
  • Receive email or text alerts
  • Communicate directly with the cooperative
  • Read current and past editions of this newsletter

SmartHub is available in both mobile apps and a web version to give members secure access whether at home, at work, or on the go. Members with smart phones or tablet devices can download the SmartHub app from iTunes or the Android Marketplace. (Use search term “NISC SmartHub”.

For more information about SmartHub or other programs, contact PEC’s Member Services department at (580) 332-3031 (Ada area) or toll-free at (877) 456-3031. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
